Protégé and WebProtégé are mature ontology editors for designing, reviewing, and governing enterprise vocabularies. They natively handle RDF/OWL2, support common import/export formats, and integrate reasoners (ELK, HermiT, etc.) to check consistency and infer class hierarchies. WebProtégé adds web collaboration, roles, comments, and change auditing. SHACL/SPIN-style validation and other extra functionality can be achieved via plugins or external SPARQL/SHACL pipelines in CI.
